"OLLIE" - DOG SHOT NEAR REVELSTOKE - UPDATED!

10-04-2014 - On Saturday October 4, 2014 at approximately 1:00pm, a three year-old Husky Cross named "Ollie" was shot by a suspected firearm while out with his owner approximately 20 km west of Revelstoke on Wap Lake Road, near Three Valley Gap.
 

An adult male was observed getting into the drivers side of a pickup truck, with a firearm.  The adult make fled the scene as the owner of "Ollie" frantically gave chase on foot.

UPDATE:

- early 1980's Regular Chev 2 Door Pickup truck, possibly with a tonneau cover and     possibly a short box.
- NO LIFT KIT.
- front Chrome grill is the small chrome tubular after market grill.
- flat chrome bumper with no licence plate insert.
- paint colour is a mixture of  black and purple.

May have been seen in the Nelson area





Adult male is described as:

- late twenties to mid-thirties
- short dark hair
- few days growth of facial hair
- dark clothing and baseball cap

Pickup truck is described as:

- 2 door black Chevrolet short-box
- late 1980's or early 1990's model
- tonneau cover
- tinted windows
- distinct chrome grill
- very clean and appeared to be well taken care of





 

 
 
Although "Ollie" was transported to a local veterinarian, he later succumbed to his injury.  His death is believed to be from a single gunshot.

Revelstoke RCMP is continuing to investigate this incident.

STOLEN KONA & SPIDER MOUNTAIN BIKES - Best Western Hotel, Revelstoke


09-14-2014 - In the early morning hours on Sunday September 14, 2014 unknown culprit(s) stole two mountain bikes which, at the time, had been  secured to the back of a vehicle parked in the Best Western parking lot located at, 1925 Laforme Blvd in Revelstoke, BC.

The mountain bikes are described as:

1) Red and Black 11 Speed Kona Process with Serial Number, HAGH02476 valued at $6,900
















2) Gold and Black 11 Speed Intense 951 Spider Composite 29 with Serial Number, YTINF131586 valued at $6,825.00

STOLEN SPARTAN MOUNTAIN BIKE - Revelstoke

09-12-2014 - On Friday September 12, 2014 at 4:15am unknown culprit(s) pried the door open at the Flowt Bike Shop located at 709 Victoria Road in Revelstoke, BC.  

Once inside, unknown culprit(s) stole a Black Devinci Spartan Mountain Bike with a Serial Number, FK00354796350021. Estimated value of this bike is $4,000.00.

STOLEN ARCTIC CAT - Revelstoke



03-22-2014 - Sometime between the hours of 7:00 P.M. on Saturday March 22nd, 2014 and 12:30 P.M. on Sunday March 23rd, 2014 unknown culprit(s) stole a Green with White trim 2013 Arctic Cat M1100 Turbo Snowmobile from a residence in the 400 block of Humbert Street in Revelstoke, BC.   

The snowmobile was equipped with a snowboard rack.

Unknown culprit(s) cut the security cable that was affixed to the snowmobile and to a motor vehicle parked at the residence.  

It is believed that a truck and or trailer were used to haul the snowmobile away.

GRAFFITI - Masonic Lodge, Revelstoke


03-21-2014 - Sometime during the later part of evening on Friday March 21st, 2014 and the early morning hours on Saturday March 22, 2014 unknown culprit(s) spray painted a number of images, including an image that resembled, “Marilyn Monroe,” on  the back of the Masonic Lodge Building located at 209 MacKenzie Avenue in Revelstoke, BC as well as on the yellow cardboard storage container.

TRUCK & TRAILER THEFT - Best Western Hotel, Revelstoke

01-25-2014 - on January 25, 2014 at 01:30 A.M. three unknown male culprits were seen walking into the back parking lot of the Best Western Hotel from the west end of Pearkes Drive in Revelstoke, BC. They entered the parking lot of the Best Western Hotel located at, 1925 Laforme Blvd.

These males walked straight up to a Grey 2006 Ford Pickup from Alberta that was attached to a white Wells Fargo utility trailer, also from Alberta. One male had a flashlight and all 3 suspects approached the driver side of the vehicle, where they gained access.

One male then walked back out towards the roadway while the other two got into the truck and drove away, turning east onto Pearkes Drive.
 
Enclosed in the utility trailer were three snowmobiles and a motorcycle.

They are described as: 2002 Ski Doo Summit 800, 2004 Polaris RMK 800 and a 1999 Summit 600 and a 2014 Yamaha YZ450F motorcycle.
