BREAK IN/THEFT - Repose Day Spa/Hillcrest Hotel, Revelstoke


12-24-205 - On Thursday December 24, 2015 between the hours of 2:00 P.M. and 3:30 P.M. the Repose Day Spa located in the Hillcrest Hotel-2100 Oak Drive in Revelstoke, BC was broken into. The door to the business was pried open and once inside a Toshiba laptop and cash were taken.


Fortunately video surveillance clearly identifies two person(s) responsible for this senseless Christmas theft:  a Caucasian male believed to be in his forties wearing a dark jacket and dark colored  toque and a Caucasian female believed to be in her thirties wearing a dark colored jacket stripped toque.

VANDALISM - Days Inn Hotel, Revelstoke


12-07-2015 - On Monday December 7, 2015 at 10:45pm an adult male purposely poured a glass of juice on their front desk keyboard at the Days Inn Hotel located at 301 Wright Street in Revelstoke, BC. This senseless act caused damage to the keyboard.


This adult male was accompanied with another adult male. The males appeared to be in their 20's and both were wearing grey hoodies and shorts.

STOLEN - SNOWMOBILE - Frisby Ridge, Revelstoke


12-15-2015 - Sometime between 4:00pm on Tuesday December 15, 2015 and 8:30am on Wednesday December 16, 2015 unknown culprit(s) stole a green and black 2016 Arctic Cat Pro Lite snowmobile with Vehicle Identification Number, 4UF16SNW3GT106701 from the Frisbee Ridge parking lot.

INVESTIGATION - Attack and Stabbing at 7-Eleven, Revelstoke


12-04-2015 - At 02:41 A.M. on December 4, 2015 a report of a physical altercation occurred between two large groups of people in the fuel stalls of the Revelstoke 7-Eleven located at 401 Victoria Road. A group of five adult males from Saskatchewan, here for  snowmobiling were attacked by approximately twelve adult males.

During the altercation, a thirty-six year old from Saskatchewan was stabbed in the back while his colleague, a thirty-one year old received a minor cut to his hand and face.  They along with their Saskatchewan colleagues had taken a local taxi to the Queen Victoria Hospital where the two were treated for minor, non-life threatening injuries while the other group, including the assailant had dispersed.

Revelstoke RCMP are continuing with interviews and reviewing CCTV from local business and licensed establishments in hopes of locating members of the large group and or the assailant.

The assailant responsible for the stabbing is described as a:  Caucasian adult male, approximately 5'8", with short hair and a goatee, wearing a grey zipup style hoody and bluejeans.

The initial altercation is believed to have started in front of the Traverse Nightclub then proceeded to the Lordco Parts parking lot and finally, across the street to the 7-Eleven convenience store.

BREAK IN - Parmajits Kitchen, Revelstoke


10-26-2015 - Sometime between 9:00pm on Monday October 26, 2015 and 9:30am on Tuesday October 27, 2015 an unknown culprit broke into the Paramjits Kitchen located at 116 First Street West in Revelstoke, BC and stole cash.

Revelstoke RCMP is asking your help in identifying the culprit and take note of the distinctive jacket worn by the culprit.
The culprit is believed to be in his mid-forty’s wearing prescription glasses, light colored toque, back-pack, running shoes, and a long distinctive overcoat with a silk screen image on the back with light colored pants.

STOLEN - SOCCER NETTING - Centennial Fields, Revelstoke


10-17-2015 - Sometime between Saturday October 17, 2015 and Sunday October 18, 2015 unknown culprit(s) stole the netting from the two soccer nets from the Centennial Ball Fields located at 1016 Centennial Park Drive in Revelstoke, BC.

Unknown culprit(s) carefully cut the plastic strapping which holds the netting to the goal posts. The total value to replace the netting is estimated at $600.

VANDALISM - REVELSTOKE LODGE, Revelstoke

ANTLERS HAVE BEEN RETURNED

09-14-2015 - On Monday September 14th, 2015 between the hours of 2:35am and 3:00am, two females and one male approached the Revelstoke Lodge located at 601 First Street W in Revelstoke, BC.

It is believed their initial intent was to take pictures with the Sculptured Elk, which is located on the roof of the Lodge. However, do no appear to have been enough for them, so they stole the antlers off the Elk.
 
 
There is video footage of this Criminal Act and the Revelstoke RCMP is seeking the public assistance in identifying these unknown culprit(s).

BREAK AND ENTER - RONA SUPPLY STORE AND REVELSTOKE BOTTLE DEPOT - Revelstoke, BC


07-31-2015 - Revelstoke RCMP is currently investigating two Break and Enters that occurred on Friday July 31, 2015 at approximately 11:15pm. 

Culprits broke into both the Rona Building Supply store and the Revelstoke Bottle Depot which are located on Cartier Street in Revelstoke, BC. 

The culprits gained access the Bottle Depot and once inside stole approximately thirty-dollars in cash 

The culprits then gained access to the Building Supply store by cutting a hole in the perimeter fence and, once inside the compound, smashed a large window, providing them access inside the store.   

The culprits ransacked the building and located and broke into a safe.  They stole an undetermined amount of cash and then stole several tools which included the Makita brand power tools. 

Culprits tampered with the video surveillance system an extracted the hard drive computer, causing damage to it.  However, RCMP Forensic Identification Services attended and managed to obtain digital images of the culprits as well as seized additional evidence.  

The culprits are believed to have fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.

One culprit is described as a Caucasian adult male wearing shorts, gloves, a dark hoodie with a white shirt underneath, running shoes, a blue cap and white glasses.

The other culprit is a Caucasian adult female wearing a light blue hoodie with dark ‘knicker’ style pants, gloves and shoes. 

There was no signs of damage to the Bottle Depot, however there was extensive damage to the Building Supply store and, combined with the theft of many power tools, is estimated in the thousands of dollars. 

The Revelstoke RCMP are seeking public assistance in providing information on this crime.  Please take a close look at the culprits shown in the photos, as someone may have observed the couple in the Revelstoke area prior to the Break and Enters.

STOLEN - KAWASAKI MOTORCYCLE - Victoria Road, Revelstoke



07-29-2015 - Sometime between Wednesday July 29, 2015 and the morning of Thursday July 30, 2015 unknown culprit(s) stole a black and dark green 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle with a Vehicle Identification Number, JKAKLEE169DA26409 from a residence in the 1600 block of Victoria Road in Revelstoke, BC.
This motorcycle had been listed For Sale with an asking price of $4,200.00.  The BC Licence Plate attached to the motorcycle was, S-40247.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - STOLEN FORD TRUCK - Second Street, Revelstoke


On Friday July 24, 2015 at 1:05 A.M. Revelstoke RCMP were alerted to a suspicious adult male attempting to steal an older model truck. RCMP responded immediately to the 1400 block of Victoria Road, however the culprit had fled the area on foot. 

 A few minutes later RCMP observed a suspicious truck traveling westbound on Victoria Road. RCMP attempted to stop the truck, however it fled and was last observed westbound on the Trans-Canada Highway toward Sicamous, BC.
 
RCMP learned the burgundy 2004 Ford truck with BC licence plate, BP-0550 was stolen from the 1100 block of 2nd Street West in Revelstoke.  The unknown culprit driving the stolen truck is believed to be a Caucasian male approximately forty-years of age.

MISSING - ROBERT CLINE KINNEE

File Number: RV2015-1438

On Wednesday May 20, 2015 the Revelsoke RCMP were alerted to an abandoned vehicle on Big Mouth Creek Road off of Highway 23 North, near the Mica Dam. The vehicle is a white 1996 Jeep Cherokee registered to Robert Cline Kinnee with a last known address in Edmonton, Alberta.
 
Based on the location of the vehicle; deactivated logging road and the condition it was in, it is believed the vehicle had been abandoned since the latter part of October 2014.

RCMP believe that Robert Kinnee checked-out of a local hotel in Revelstoke, BC on October 7, 2014 and may have traveled to Calgary, Alberta to visit family and then returned to Revelstoke, BC.

Robert Kinnee was known to some as a mushroom picker and tree planter and may have been the reason for his vehicle to be parked in a fairly remote location.

Robert Kinnee is believed to have worked on the rigs in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Robert Kinnee is a 56 year-old Caucasian male with brown, greying hair and green eyes. He is 6 feet tall with a slim build.

STOLEN BOBCAT - Wolsey Creek Bridge, Revelstoke

04-27-2015 - Sometime between 6:00 P.M. on Monday April 27, 2015 and 6:00 A.M. on Tuesday April 29, 2015, unknown culprit(s) stole a white with orange trim, 2009 Bobcat from a worksite near the Wolsey Creek Bridge, approximately thirty kilometers east of Revelstoke, BC and the Trans-Canada Highway.

It is believed the Bobcat was hauled away and headed in a westbound direction on the Trans-Canada Highway.



The Bobcat had a BC Licence Plate of, X55019 and a Vehicle Identification Number of,  A3L335035.

STOLEN GAS GAS EC 300R - 1st Street West, Revelstoke

04-21-2015 - Sometime in the early morning hours on Tuesday April 21st, 2015 unknown culprit(s) stole a 2014 Gas Gas Model EC 300R Motorcycle from the garage of a residence located in the 800 block of 1st Street West in Revelstoke, BC.



The motorcycle is white in color with red and black decals. The Vehicle Identification Number is, UTRECH2C3EG400025. 

The motorcycle is valued at $9,000.

STOLEN FREERIDE SKIDOO - 4th Street, Revelstoke


01-02-2015 - On Friday January 2nd, 2015 at approximatley2:00am, unknown culprit(s) cut the chain that was attached to a light grey 2013 Marathon Utility Open-Style Trailer with a Vehicle Identification Number of: 2SSUB11A4DB061872
that contained a White 2014 800cc Freeride Ski-Doo with green skis and green handlebars, Vehicle Identification Number: 2BPSVCEA3EV000446.
The Ski-Doo and trailer were parked at a residence in the 400 block of 4th Street West in Revelstoke, BC.
It is believed that unknown culprit(s) used a pickup truck to hook onto the trailer and fled the area by heading westbound on 4th Street.
