STOLEN - Volkswagen Beetle, Begbie Falls Parking Lot Hwy 23 S

08-19-2019 - The Revelstoke RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in locating the stolen vehicle in the still image below.  The theft of the vehicle occurred on August 19, 2019 at approximately 3:50 PM from the parking lot of Begbie Falls, 7 km south of Revelstoke along Hwy 23 S.  The vehicle is described as a 1969 blue Volkswagen Beetle with Alberta licence plate BFH0637 and is unique as it is a convertible, has bug eye headlights, white racing stripes, a roll bar and resembles a dune buggy.  If you have any information with respect to this theft or any information with respect to any other Criminal act, please contact the Revelstoke RCMP at 250-837-5255 or CRIME STOPPERS at 1-800-222-8477/1-800-222-TIPS or visit their website at www.revycrimestoppers.ca.
